Philippine Consulate General as Drop-Off Point for Donations for Typhoon Victims in the Philippines

 
 

15 October 2009 - The Philippine Consulate General has been designated as a drop-off point for donations in-kind for the benefit of the hundreds of thousands Filipino families  affected by the recent typhoons, Ondoy and Parma. Some twenty boxes of used clothing, bottled water and canned goods have been received.  

Members of the Filipino Community will make the necessary arrangements for the immediate dispatch of the donations. Youth leaders and students from various universities in Hawaii, including the University of Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific University and Brigham Young University are actively participating in the drive to gather donations of  basic necessities such as canned goods and used clothing for those affected by the recent typhoons.
