Mama Sita Launches Three New Flavors in Hawaii


10 March 2010.  Mama Sita, the Philippines’ premier producer of Filipino food mixes and sauces launched its latest flavors, “Pinapaitan,” “Pansit Bihon” and ‘Sisig,” at a Luncheon held on 10 March 2010 at the Philippine Consulate General. 

Consul General Leoncio R. Cardenas, in his remarks, commended Mama Sita’s commitment and passion to bring good and healthy food to Filipinos overseas. By way of appreciation to this valuable commitment, he encouraged “(we) Filipinos to do our part in promoting Philippine-made products by being “agents” of  quality Filipino food to our  communities.” 

Mama Sita’s three new flavors represent the diverse taste of the consummate Filipino culinary, “Sisig,” (Citrus-Pepper Spice Mix) a Kapampangan innovation, ‘the “Pansit Bihon,” (Rice Noodle Stir-Fry Mix), the all-time Filipino favorite, and the “Pinapaitan” (Bitter Stew Mix), an Ilocano rendition of its penchant for bitter flavors.

Filipino community leaders, Ms. Maggie Domingo, President, PCCCH, Dr. Arnold Villafuerte, and KPHI “Pinoy Power” Emmy Anderson were among those who attended the launching organized by Mama Sita-Hawaii’s Sherwood Chock, through Consul Paul Cortes.


 

Mama Sita-Hawaii (Family Food Company) will also hold exclusive food festivals at various venues sometime mid-2010 to introduce these new flavors. END
